Jaida Almonte is a 16-year-old junior at South Broward High School. Although she was born here in Florida, her family is from the Dominican Republic.
Her biggest fear is failing, because she always tries to be good at everything she does. One thing that she can’t live without is her phone, because she also loves music, so you will always see her with her earbuds on. Her hobby is playing softball, but she would like to be a dentist in the army when she grows up.
Almonte doesn’t like people with negative vibes around her because they will put her in a bad mood and it will affect her day.
“You’re either with me or against me,” she said.
