Maria Jose Arguello, 24 year old, receptionist at Avant Garde Academy, believes that the election was unfair but has made society become more divided and that it has caused dispersion between opinions.

“I think it has caused a lot of polarization between whether your blue or your red and like picking sides or your pro-trump or against Trump and not Biden, I think it has brought the youth in this generation to know that we are not really informed and have accurate information” said Arguello.

Arguello gets her information on websites and national textbooks that have accurate information and also base on hearing of what Trump or Biden says in the debates. She believes most of the youth of this generation goes to Instagram or twitter to judge others and not get accurate information. She thinks we should go to websites like fox new, read articles, and Washington post.

“I think as part of the youth we normally go to our social media but unfortunately that is not a good source to site, I don’t think we just have to be intellectual of the way we speak and use big words but actually knowing the policies” said Arguello.

Arguello thinks that the election was unfair because at some point most of the states were red meaning Trump supported and all of the sudden it started turning blue because of the call of extended time. Arguello believes that if a election is fair you don’t have to hide anything and that it seems like Biden is hiding a lot of things.

“They didn’t want to call when Trump was head in some of the states and leading and they called Arizona before of time because Biden was already leading, they were saying thing that the media keeps on wanting to change, I believe if an election is fair then be a open book and don’t hide anything even if they have 30 to 40 lawsuits” said Arguello.

Arguello has seen unfairness and division during this election. Arguello believes this is the first time ever in history to see how everyone has been divided and also see how noticeable our candidates make mistakes that the media change to create others opinions to be based on.
