Karissa Lajiness, Contributor
Karissa Lajiness is a 17-year-old senior, who has been attending South Broward for three years now. Lajiness has hopes of ending her senior year with good friends and special memories. Upcoming events like grad bash and prom are very exciting for the sociable student.
Lajiness, a huge Halloween enthusiast, also loves spicy tuna rolls and the color red. Because Lajiness grew up around doctors as a kid, she has developed a passion for medicine and plans on attending a university to become a surgeon. During school, Lajiness attends a medical club called HOSA in order to advance and gain experience for her future career.
Her greatest’s strengths academically are math, science, and English but Lajiness feels most confident with math and science. Outside of school, she tends to sleep and watch shows on Netflix like "Grey's Anatomy", "Blue Bloods", and "13 Reasons Why". Lajiness also enjoys reading romance novels when she has time.
Lajiness is interested in photojournalism, due to the fact that she likes taking photos. She has hopes of attaining more photojournalistic knowledge this year, while still having fun with it.
