Sarah George, a senior at South Broward is the founder and president of a new club called Impact. Mrs. Green the brace advisor who also thought it would be a wonderful idea to bring this club idea to South Broward is very proud to be alongside Sarah, and are very excited for how the clubs future looks like.

Many students every year get lost and really confused when it comes to applying for colleges and getting prepared for the real world outside of South Broward. And Sarah George being the president is very motivated about getting students to come out and start their journey to success. Sarah has experienced this issue first hand with herself and her own friends, and see’s how difficult it may be for many students when it comes to getting the necessary help they need and the lack of information many may have when it comes to applying and even doing their college essay. Sarah said, “Impact is not only about helping students to prepare them for college but also to motivate them to strive for opportunities they didn’t know they could reach”.

Mrs. Green and Sarah came together to think of cool ideas and awesome and fun ways to help students out. The impact club is mainly for juniors and seniors because a lot of the workshops, for example, help you with getting scholarships, Transcripts, service hours, and applying for college.

There is also a vice president and her name is Mackenzie Malloy and she is also a senior at South Broward High who has the same goal as Sarah, and that’s helping as many students as possible. One new member called Ricardo Izquierdo who is a senior said: “Impact can help many seniors like me in many ways and I am very fortunate to be able to join a club like this”. Sarah along with Mrs green and Mackenzie have a goal in mind and they won’t stop until they reach it, and that’s helping as many upcoming seniors and seniors out as much as possible, so they can strive for any opportunity no matter how far.
