Congratulations to the South Broward High School Boys Soccer Team for their victory over the Nova Titans on Thursday, November 29, at Nova High School’s soccer field.

The game started at a slow pace, but escalated quickly as Matthew Randall, a South Broward sophomore, scored the first goal of the game.

Randall, #10, who holds the title of team captain, fell to the ground with a minor knee injury shortly after scoring the first goal. He proved to his teammates that he has determination and persistence, two valuable qualities of a team leader, and ran right back into the game. He proceeded to assist Eduardo Diaz in scoring the second goal, making the score 2-0 in favor of SBHS before halftime.

After halftime, the Titans managed to sneak two goals in, but this was no threat to the Bulldogs who were eager to take the lead. Another goal for the South Broward Bulldogs was scored by Mark Kurtevski, starting player, and the Bulldogs once again had the advantage.

The relentless Bulldogs would not be satisfied with the final score of 3-2, they needed to ensure their lead in the game. Nico Robles ensured that lead, and scored the final goal of the game, concluding the game with a score of 4-2.

The Titans showed a great effort, but the Bulldogs use of aggressiveness, teamwork, and skill took dominance over the game, leading to another win for the South Broward Boys Soccer Team. The season is yet to finish, so come out and support your South Broward Bulldogs!
