The Beauty of Hair

As a 16-year-old girl still exploring life, I’ve found that my hair plays a big part in my growth. After the horrendous actions 14-year-old me did to my hair, I had to do a big chop and let my hair regrow into a healthy state. I was so ashamed I would wear bonnets or turbans to cover it up. I have 4c hair which is a  little harder for me to maintain, so in order to keep my hair healthy, I have to keep it in protective styles. Well since Covid-19 hit it’s been hard to find someone willing to do my hair. My usual hairstylist caught covid and decided she would take a 3-month break. So since covid-19 have hit I’ve been braiding my hair every night and wearing my afro puff outside. When my hairstylist gives the all-clear I will for sure be going to get my protective plaits!
