A child abuser seems to be better than a Democrat to Alabama

Roy Moore is the Republican candidate who’s currently running for Senate. He was accused by numerous woman of having approached them, dated them, and in some cases sexually harassed them. They were all teenagers.

Even after all of allegations saying that Moore is not the best of guys, Alabama continues to think that that he is the best choice. This makes sense to some degree, after all, they believe that public culture should be followed by the Bible and that traditional morality is essential.

I am not a religious person myself but I can clearly understand their point of view. It’s their belief and concept of life, but is it really better to leave someone you don’t trust as a human being in office than choosing someone who is free of any records and seems genuine and caring for the state of Alabama just because of differences in perspective. Not in my opinion is not.

Moore addresses himself as a religious and rightful person but through my eyes he looks like a men who is deceiving the very word he says he follows. He does not only seem as someone who uses power to get what he wants but has also commented that homosexuality should be illegal and that Muslims should be banned from serving on Congress. These untactful comments are what make me even more sick to my stomach. A man shouldn’t make who and what you are as a crime or a misdemeanor.

Democrat runner up, Doug Jones, seems to still be facing a downhill battle even after all of the allegations against Moore were presented to the public. A democrat hasn’t been elected for the U.S senate since 1992 which clearly implies how the Alabama population hold their beliefs above all else.

Jones has really crossed party lines and has alliances with many Republicans but even they think that Alabama is just not there yet. But the real question is, will it ever be?
