As a returning artistic member of the Bulldog Bark, Patrihana Chery has expressed and experienced the thrill of the media. Her love for art has been shown in her recurring pieces on the website.
“I feel like cartoons are the best delivery of political media to attract younger audiences,” said Chery.
She is a great example of modern media and creativity coming together. Her cultural background is diverse, as she’s first generation American with a Haitian family. Family to her is a priority as she’s using her education and art to represent them.
Her inspiration for her art is her love for Manga, which she consistently reads. She loves to read and hang out with her friends on the weekends. She realized that her friends had no idea what was going with the world; they had no idea about current events. With her interest in political media she tends to draw a lot of cartoons which represent current events in a toned down form.
