“A story that has taken place in my life that has impacted me would be my harry styles concert. On June 9, 2018 in sunrise I was able to see someone who I’ve loved for eight years now. I won’t lie, being in there was nerve wracking, the time to actually see him getting closer and closer made me nervous. When the lights turned off and I heard his intro play, all my nervousness disappeared and my excitement grew. As the first song passed I was already in disbelief that this man on stage was real and a normal human just like me.”

“During the show I was able to let go of all my cares and dance to his music with people I’ve never even met before. I was comfortable and felt accepted by those around me. Pride flags and black lives matter flags were being waved along with a tribute to Stoneman Douglas. I was so proud to see everyone come together and light up the arena with love and positivity. It was an eye opening experience and has really changed my perspective on things. It’s made me happy and comfortable with who i am inside and out.”
