Audra Mignola

Wearing a mask has become the norm for the majority. A lot of people have been wearing them ever since the outbreak of COVID-19. It becomes a part of your daily routine when preparing to go out, and for Audra Mignola, it’s no different.

“I wear a mask to prevent myself from getting the virus,” said Mignola.

She wears it in situations when she needs to go out in public. However, if she’s walking around the neighborhood she only puts it on if she comes within six feet of someone else.

“I’d say I’m diligent while I’m out,” she said.

She says that we probably won’t be able to take off the masks until scientists find a vaccine. Mignola likes wearing the iconic mask, the one that reminds you of a doctor.

“I prefer the disposable mask because they aren’t as heavy, there made from paper, and the cloth ones seem to make you sweat,” said Mignola.

She finds that one of the hardest parts of wearing a mask is reading somebody’s face.

“You can’t see if people are smiling. It’s very hard to read someone’s face while wearing a mask,” said Mignola.
