Brian Anderson
Brian Anderson is a 45-year-old hard-working man. As the owner of his own company, Broward County Fence, he sees people every single day.
Anderson is a rule follower and believes it’s right to follow the mask mandate, so he wears his mask wherever he needs to. Not only does he not want to get in trouble, but he also does it out of respect for people who are afraid of getting COVID.
“They would think of me as selfish if I don’t wear a mask in front of other people so I do it for other people,” Anderson said.
Although he wears his mask every day in public places, he doesn’t wear it when he’s by himself in the car. He thinks that’s a little extreme.
“If they are not wearing a mask then I’ll ask if I wear mine,” said Anderson.
His wife wears her mask religiously, but his son is like him and only wears his mask in public places. Some of his friends, on the other hand, don’t wear it.
“I notice lately the mask has kind of gotten relaxed and lightened up so hopefully soon we will not be required to wear masks,” Anderson said.
He believes that if cases increase, the government will implement a very strict mask requirement, and we will be wearing masks until Christmas.
His favorite masks are the cheap ones you can buy online for one dollar. Anderson finds it difficult to keep the conversation going when he is wearing a mask.
“Just the other day a guy was telling us some stuff that we needed to hear, and he kept pulling down his mask because it was distracting and his glasses were fogging up,” he said.
