SBHS Junior Cora Chin

Cora Chin is a SBHS junior that is currently enrolled in the Cambridge Diploma program. She hopes to complete the program in her last two years of high school, along with achieving good grades and good attendance.

“All of these things are important for getting into college, which is my ultimate goal,” said Chin.

Another reason Chin wants to complete the program is so she can get the Bright Futures scholarship, which will help her pay for college.

For her, the hardest thing about trying to achieve her goals is completing the AICE tests at the end of the year.

“Running out of time, trying to complete it to the best of your ability, how hard the test is,” said Chin, “All of that pressure builds up and can make it really stressful during the test taking.”

While she hopes that she gets the diploma, she says she doesn’t feel like she must, because at least she attempted to do it. To her, that’s what really counts.
