Edwin Garcia
Edwin Garcia was born and raised in Honduras and came to U.S. when he was 24 years old.
Like some immigrants, Garcia has suffered from life’s tragedies.
”A few months after i arrival, my mother got sick and she last 13 years sick in bed without being able to move and she died Januay, 19, 2017, on my birthday,” he said.
He has also lost other family members. Garcia has four siblings, one sister and three brothers. He had three more siblings who passed away. He almost lost his eye sight as a child.
” As I grew up, I had something white covering my pupil, which invaded me to see well, and I had to ask him to eliminate it, otherwise I would have been blind,” said Garcia.
After all the trauma Garcia has been through, he happily got married to a beautiful wife and has four kids, three daughters, and one boy,his greatest joy would be his kids. Garcia works two jobs: one as a barber the other installing security cameras. One thing Garcia would change about the world would be to allow immigrants to get better jobs.
”I would allow immigrants to get better jobs because it was difficult for me to find a job here in the U.S,” he said.
