Elena Romero
As a mother, daughter, and team leader to a wholesaler company, Elena Romero is always protecting herself by using a mask.
“I’m a believer in wearing masks because I feel that unfortunately under the circumstances that we’re in right now it would be the best option to be safe,” Romero said, “not only is it safe for you but others as well.”
She finds wearing a mask challenging, especially because she is always home. But she still wears her masks when she goes out in public to protect herself and others.
“I feel like I’m suffocating wearing a mask,” she said.
Romero thinks that there is a big debate on wearing a mask and that people are being foolish about wearing them. She thinks that they should be responsible and wear a mask to protect others.
“If I am in public and you’re not wearing a mask I’m not getting near you. You know it’s for safety, for precautions,’’ said Romero.
She doesn’t have a favorite mask. Romero thinks that we are making more contact with people now since we’re covering more than half our faces.
“I think that we’ll be wearing a mask until further notice, but I am hopeful that this virus gets situated by mid-2021,” she said.
