Jonathan Cerrega, Owner Eatitude

Food. Fitness. Health. Three qualities that Jonathan lives by on a daily basis. And it shows. The Venezuelan native frequently did body building competitions in his home Caracas Venezuela to only leave it all behind 4 years ago, and start a new life here in the United States.

Coming here, Jonathan had one true dream: to open a healthy food restaurant.

“The first two years were extremely tough for me. Not knowing english was a major setback for me. I felt lost. I felt homesick,” said Cerrega.

Falling into a depression, he still continued working towards the cooking dream he’s had since he was young. Exercising daily helped him through these tough times.

Cerrega made sure never let that passion for exercising die. Committing to a local Gym, he found a second home. He found peace.

Finally after three years of hard work, Cerrega finally opened his first healthy vegan/vegetarian restaurant, called Eatitude.

With only less than a year of opening, Eatitude is already a local hit here in Hollywood Florida, and attracts many customers daily.

He also recently competed in his first body building competition here in Fort Lauderdale, receiving first place in his Category.
