Kathy Keesler

Kathy Keesler is a paralegal who works at Steven D. Braverman, PA. Their office handles real estate transactions, bankruptcy, and probate files. But, even normal business transactions have become abnormal.

“My work hasn’t been normal since COVID-19 hit Florida,” said Braverman.

COVID-19 has added an additional layer of difficulty to everyday work completion. At the beginning of the pandemic, people weren’t allowed in the office.

“We had to make arrangements to meet people in their car to have documents signed,” she said.

Keesler has adapted to the change and wears a mask diligently. She still talks to people the same and just keeps her social distance.

“I wear a mask every time I go into a store, and I just assume it is required,” she said.

She believes that we will be wearing masks until at least the end of winter, if not into the spring.

All of her friends and family that live down here wear masks, but she does have some family in Northern Florida that don’t wear masks as much.

Keesler thinks one thing we can take out of this whole experience is patience and compassion for all.
