Luna Love

After our 14-year-old Labrador, Nyla, died in August, and because we were all home due to the pandemic, our family got a new Dobberman puppy. We named her Luna. Dobberman’s are a challenging breed. She’s skittish, barks a lot, chews things, play-fights with our other dog, Rocky, and can leap over our couch in a single bound. But, she’s also a love. So is my daughter, Marley. This photo of them snuggling together on the floor feels like a warm hug to me. And, in a year full of utter stress and heartbreak, I think we could all use some Luna Love.
