Margaret Curtiss

Margaret Curtiss is a retired physical therapist who was born and raised in upper Florida and is now living her dream life in Hollywood during winter and Canada during summer.

With all her free time, Curtiss loves to volunteer at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, spending her time giving tours and removing fishing line from the rocks.

”It is like my second home,” she said.

Her biggest joy is the water. Curtiss would do absolutely anything to surf a large wave, paddle board on the flat water, or simply go for a swim.

Her greatest fear is losing the people she loves the most. If she could change one thing about the world want to remove all the pollution from the environment or at least teach people how their litter is harming our oceans and ecosystems.

”I have lived my life for sixty plus years without a problem,” said Curtiss, “I love who I am and I would not change it for the world.”
