Matthew Chapman

The people that run towards the black smoke and the orange flames while everyone else runs away. This is what Matthew Chapman would like to do in his ideal life. Born in Miami, Florida on May 8th 2004.

Chapman is now a resident of Hollywood, FL and is a senior at South Broward High School. Becoming a firefighter was always a goal in his eyes which is very different then working in an office. 

“Having an office job. They’re not enjoyable and I would be very scared for that to be the outcome of my hard work,” says  Chapman

Mr.Chapman believes that instead of working most of your life to enjoy the last bit of it without worrying about finances isn’t as nice as it sounds. He believes you have to make the most of your life while you’re here. 

“I do believe that there is a meaning in life otherwise what are we living for. The purpose of life is to live without regrets because regrets stop us from living and put us at a halt,” says Chapman
