Pablo Cavallo
Pablo Cavallo, 17, is a student at Miami Dade College, and is looking forward to all that college-life has to offer: meeting new people, expanding his mind and participating in campus life. One thing he didn’t think it would involve: wearing a mask.
“I wear a mask to protect myself and others around me,” said Cavallo.
Every time he goes out, he always remembers to wear his mask. He doesn’t want to harm anyone he comes in contact with.
Wearing a mask comes easy to him, because he’s gotten used to it. His family is also very lenient about wearing masks to not spread it to other family members.
Choosing a unique mask is one of the pros to wearing a mask. His favorite mask happens to be simple.
However, his sister likes to be unique and has different colored masks depending on the outfit she wears.
Instead of spending a ridiculous amount of money on masks to wear out, people decide to make their own and be original. Wearing a mask is a big change when it comes to interacting with people. Not seeing someone’s facial expression can really affect the way the conversation goes or even your relationship with them. What if we knew about the virus sooner. When people first started talking about the virus, it was just a rumor. But little did we know how far this was going to go. Seven months into quarantine. We are living in a time that will never be forgotten.
“I feel like if we started wearing masks sooner, it would’ve decreased the amount of people that have lost their lives to this virus,” said Cavallo.
