Patricia Parron

Patricia Parron is a mother, friend, author and teacher. She was born and raised in New York and now lives in Hollywood Florida with her husband and two kids. She attended Florida International University to pursue a career in education. Now she teaches Spanish-speaking adults how to read, write and speak English. Patricia also founded Lily’s Wellness, which is a non-profit organization that supports local children with cerebral palsy, the organization holds a educational support system for families who seek methods of treatment. Lily’s Wellness was named after Patricia’s daughter Lily, who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

“If I had the opportunity to change one thing in today’s world, is for all humans love and accept one another freely and without prejudice,” Parron said.

In 2016 she published a children’s book called “My Sister Lily” and is now working to release another book in 2019. Her book’s goal is to explain to children that special needs children are just like any other kid and can be your friend.
