Roberto Orozco, SBHS Senior

Roberto Orozco, or Bobby, is an 18 year old senior at South Broward High School.  His ‘occupation’ is to make people around him constantly laugh.

“Making people laugh makes me feel good,” says Orozco.

One thing Orozco doesn’t like about the world is how angry people are. He wishes people would live life in a happier state.

“My greatest accomplishment is learning how to control my emotions,” he said.

Having been in so many tough situations, when Orozco needs to be calm, he is able to be.

He feels as if “school isn’t for him” but he does believe that it can provide many opportunities for others.

If Orozco can change one thing about school it would be to have school start at a later time.

“There are too many crazy drivers on the road and traffic can suck in the morning,” he said. “I have had senioritis for a while but I keep going because I know that the decisions I make will affect me later in life”.
