Sophia Lee Bright

Five years ago, Sophia Lee Bright would reach in to the Wendy’s drive-thru window to get her double stack burger with extra cheese, large fries and a frosty. Now, she’s reaching out. The Hialeah native is a manager at the Oakwood Plaza Wendy’s in Hollywood.

In general, Bright likes her job. She feels as if she earns a good wage, $18 an hour, enjoys vacation days and paid-time-off days. But, there are things she doesn’t like.

“I hate the fact that I have to be on top of people that are my age, like do your job and take responsibility,” said Bright.

Sometimes, she has a nasty attitude and would like to be more calm and respectful, especaily “when someone is in my face and tries to spit on me and not give me enough time to react.”

Bright graduated high school with an AA degree and is currently studying nursing ???

She’s a hard worker and wished people would use their intelligence and common sense more in the real world.

“People in the drive-thru be stupiddd yoooo,” said Bright.
