The Dreams of Sha’Neace Wilson

“I want to be a singer. The obstacle that I fear most is that I wont be able to face are all the negativity from other people. My love for music started becoming my absolute passion after I started watching my favorite Youtubers: Ar’mon and Trey. They began from nothing. They made videos on a popular app at the time called “vine”, they started making music and now are signed to a label. Watching them and knowing their story gives me motivation to accomplish my dreams and grants me hope in being able to be what ever I decide in life. As of today and for the rest of my schooling career, I’m making sure to keep a tunnel vision focus in school. I believe school is a place to learn and a place to share happy memories, so when my peers at South Broward judge and even ridicule others based on their appearance, my body fills with anguish at such shallow behaviors; I try to look past that. I feel as though South Broward is more than a school, the people who I surround myself with make me feel like I’m apart of a big family.”
