Vera Shestakova, a Good Influence on the Community
Vera Shestakova is a senior from the South Broward High School community who was born in Uzbekistan in 2000. Shestakova grew up in a small country, but always had the feeling that she belonged some where else. Later her family moved to United States where she began to experience more opportunities for her personal growth.
Shestakova’s passion has always been studying, and her goal is to learn something new from each situation. She wants to follow her dreams of studying, without being distracted by rowdy teenage behavior.
Shestakova has been always a great student and because that she got a full scholarship to the university of Oral Roberts, where she plans to major in political science.
This young Christian student faithfully follows the word of God, and identifies with the biblical phrase from 1 Corinthians 13:8: “Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!”
