Eric Charles

Eric Charles is the 11th-grade counselor at South Broward High School. Charles is 37-years-old and he is happily married and has three beautiful daughters. His favorite sport is football and his favorite football team is Miami Hurricanes. Although his favorite team’s colors are green and orange, Charles’ favorite colors are blue and brown.

The now-counselor sees himself as an assistant principal or as a guidance director in 10 years.

He is scared of flying, regardless of the fact that the 37 year-old man had flew on multiple airplanes before. The future assistant principal sees both his parents and siblings as role models.

“I am so happy for the family I have,” he said. “They are always there for me and always help me achieve all my goals,”

The current 11th grade counselor is very friendly, and a social man, as he has to talk with students daily about what they are feeling and Charles is always there to make them feel comfortable, and happy.At South Broward, Bullying has stopped increasing throughout the years due to Charles’ splendid job helping every 11th grade student feel safe by trying his best to stop every single case of bullying in the school. All of this with the purpose of making the school’s environment a calm, welcoming place for every person.
