Abner Reyes

Abner Reyes is a freshman at South Broward High School who grew up in Guatemala city in the department of San Rafael Los Flores. 

Reyes came to Hollywood FL 2 years ago to learn to speak fluid English and to have better job opportunities in the future.

Reyes’ hobbies are playing basketball and soccer. Reyes doesn’t have a lot of free time but in his free time he loves to play soccer, hang out with his friends and play videogames . He currently has a job where he helps his dad cleaning the interior of cars, park cars, clean windows, inflate the car tires and cut his neighbors grass. 

In the summer Abner likes to go to Guatemala and Honduras to visit his family and spend time with them, Reyes’ dad is Honduran and her mom is Guatemalan.

“I like to go to Honduras and Guatemala because I want to see my family and I don’t see them all the time.” Reyes said.
