29 killed in Terrorist attack at Iranian Military Parade

Frantic military soldiers lay wounded in the military parade in Ahvas, Iran. Around 29 people were killed, 70 wounded.  

On October 4th, 2018 civilians, soldiers, and  journalists lay wounded and dead from the terrorist attack at the Iranian military parade. The location of the parade was at the providence bordering Iraq. The place of attack as once a battle ground that killed over half of a million soldiers.

The terrorists that shot and wounded the people at the parade were hiding inside the park, not visible to the individuals. The people there were distraught when the terrorists started attacking,their first instinct to frantically run away, seeking for help to stop the deaths around them.

After two to three hours, three unidentified attackers were gunned down and caught by security, leading to arrests hours later, said by news agencies.

The government confirms the attack as a terrorist attack. ISIS claimed that they were responsible for the attack, but they didn’t want to share any evidence of responsibility.   

The injured civilians that were attacked were medically assisted and an ongoing investigation is in place to receive more information on the cause and to prevent future attacks.
