After your sports season what do you have in mind to do? Well, If you want to continue playing your sport join an AAU team. AAU stands for Amateur Athletic Union and it’s described as travel organization for sports.

AAU is an amateur sports organization based in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.

For example, at South Broward High School there is some freshman’s that plays basketball, and keeps repeating.

“I’m playing travel after basketball season,” said SBHS freshman Adrian Collier.

Collier wants to stay busy during the summer, and to showcase there talents at AAU tournaments to get known. Many college coaches attend these AAU tournaments to scout players that are doing great, and for the athlete to receive a scholarship. If you want to stay busy after your sports season in high school join an AAU TEAM.
