Are Video Games Too Violent For Younger Generations?

       Last year on February fourteenth, Valentine’s Day, 17 teens and adults were shot and died in the tragic shooting.

“I’m hearing more and more people saying the level of violence on violent video games is really shaping young people’s thoughts,”said Donald J. Trump after the Marjory Stoneman-Douglas High School shooting.

Young kids playing violent video games is causing a bad impact for the purpose of future children of America; do we want this to happen to more and more schools? video games can damage both physical and mental health and are getting more and more popular in both young children, adults and, teens.

      From Fortnite to Mario Kart 8, kids are playing these games; they may be fun but, are they really safe? Schools have been sending parents letters to warn them about the effects of these kinds of games their children convinced them to buy, and telling them about the mental impacts. Video games are impacting our future generations for the United States of America for the worst. These young children will soon be adults in a matter of years and time is passing by. Means of technology is advancing quickly. if kids and teens are watching streams from a young age how is that physiologically impacting the way they view the world. by the means of banning these games from younger audiences can prevent violence seen in kids.

        Sitting on your phone, personal computer, or an Xbox for hours and hours can have the ability to cause obesity and can also have the ability to also cause them to be lazy in young children, adults, and teens. day by day video producers are making money off streams from many of the violent games you can purchase easily on line on at a local store. making it more accessible for the viewers. most violent video games have the goal of killing as many people as they can and breaking the federal law and running away from law enforcement. By kids watching streamers and playing the video games how will they know right from wrong? Or will they just think it’s just another one of their video games. Video games have unhealthy habits that come with them, such as not blinking for long periods of time causing dry eyes. Looking at the screen can cause a lot of visionary problems. Looking too close whilst opening their eyes to constraint cause their head to get major head aches. sitting close to the computer screen can temporary vision problems. Headaches can influence the brain itself causing pain and an adequate amount of  stress from playing a video game is extremely unnecessary. considering that video games are indefinably not part of a school curriculum.

These types of video games are unhealthy for your body, causing obesity all over the world. Kids should be outside playing benefiting both physical and mental health. being outside can improve memory, fight depression, and lower blood pressure. Several studies show that nature walks have memory promoting effects that other walks don’t. One study the university of Michigan students here given a brief memory test then divided In two groups. one group took a walk around an arboretum and the other took a walk down a city street. when the patients had returned and did the test again, those who had walked among trees did twenty percent better than the first time they had been tested. In conclusion video games have both a physical and physiological negative effect on young minds of America.
