A bridge in Miami Florida collapsed over pedestrians last Thursday as people drove under. The fatal accident killed six people and trapped survivors under for more than an hour. As survivors were saved they were sent to the hospital. It crushed vehicles with people inside. The reason the bridge that is over 950 tons collapsed over citizens is because the bridge was still under construction. The bridge was designed to withstand catastrophic weather but at the time it collapsed construction workers were tightening cables for great support.  After the situation occurred families have filed lawsuits and they have cleaned up the remains of destruction and victims among the dead.
