Freshmen this year are really adorable, they are like newborns to the society. And, like newborns, they have a lot to learn.

Karen Arias is an energetic and happy freshman who is glad to be here at SBHS. It is her first time in high school, so she was really nervous at first. But as she started to explore around the school, she started getting more and more used to the environment and the people.

“The part I like about school is that the teachers here are nice,” said Arias, “They actually care about us and our grades. also the people here at SBHS are really nice and include everyone in the activities they have here.”

Karen made lots of new friends during the first month of school. She wanted to be more active in school so she joined chess club and other fun things in the school.

Karen really loves school because she can be with her friends and do clubs that are really interesting to her.

“I really love school, I can be with friends that I have and be in chess club to enjoy my freshman year.”

As far as Arias is concerned, her experience so far can be summed up in one word:

“AMAZING!”
