Kwenie Laguerre

Kwenie Laguerre is a senior at South Broward High. She finds herself to be alone often because she doesn’t really like talking to others. 

“It’s kind of hard for me to make friends because I don’t really like talking to people, but I guess the friends I do have now are pretty chill,” said Laguerre.

This is more common than some people may think. Shyness isn’t a thing easy to overcome but it is possible to do.

The senior hopes that this school year passes by quickly. She wants to fly through senior year and get out of high school as soon as possible. So far, her last year seems to be going pretty easily for her.

“The school year just started so it’s not really hard. It’s little easy assignments,” she said.

Laguerre hopes to attend FAMU to get her degree in Anesthesiology. Ever since she was young, she dreamed of going to the medical field.
