Lil Nas X’s Montero Controversy

Lisbey Cabrera is a 14-year old student that goes to Olsen middle. The Lil Nas X music video, “Call me by your name,” that was posted on March 26,2021 and trending on Youtube,  confused her.

Cabrera knows a lot of people that are against the music video, but she personally doesn’t think too much of it.

“I think that the video was pretty good, and I enjoyed watching it. In my opinion the video was pretty good, I don’t think too deep into it by that,” said Cabrera.

Cabrera thinks that Lil Nas x made the video so that people can accept who he is.

“I don’t think that he was really thinking of what would come out of it after he released the music video. I haven’t read many articles or anything about it, but I think he was doing it to get people on their nerves,” said Cabrera.

Cabrera personally doesn’t like the Lil Nas X Air Max 97 Satan shoes because she finds them unusual and weird.

“I wouldn’t personally buy them because they creep me out, but they are pretty cool looking except for the real blood part” said Cabrera.

Cabrera thinks that Lil Nas X was creative with this music video. She thinks that he could be sending a message to his haters and she also hopes the best for Lil Nas X.
