School Vending Machines
At SBHS, many of the students agree that the school lunches are not good and they should be changed. It causes many of them to not eat on a school day and spend a lot of their money on the vending machines.
Leynin Rodriguez, a SBHS sophomore doesn’t eat in the morning because she always feels like she is going to throw up in the morning. She doesn’t eat the school lunch either because she doesn’t like how it tastes. She ends up eating items from the vending machine around campus.
“I spend a lot of money on the vending machines. I’d say about ten dollars a week,” said Leynin.
Other students agreed with Rodreguiz because they said the school lunch looked and tasted “nasty.” SBHS freshman Chole Hutton says if she eats the school lunch she’ll only eats apples because that’s the only good thing that they offer. She also thinks the lunch lines are way too long, and take up too much time.
“I think they should open more lunch lines to shorten up the lines so the food lines go by faster,” said Chole.
