Akia Lopez, 17, is a  senior at SBHS who is a member of SGA, BSU, and AWOM. She was also a member of South Broward’s former Basketball Dance Team. She is an only child and a first year member of The Bulldog Bark. She hopes to be a positive contributor when it comes to clubs and other school events on campus.

Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, Lopez hopes to make this year count by maintaining her grades in all her classes and joining as many clubs/groups as she can around the school. Her current goal is to maintain the amount of service hours needed for a cord at graduation. A quote she goes by is “aim for the stars,” as she can’t wait to see what she can bring to South Broward and the class of 2024.
