Christien Horne is a hard working 16- year - old junior, who attends South Broward High School. He was born and raised in Pembroke Parks, Florida. He continued to carry on his journalism experience throughout his Freshman and Junior year to get a better understanding of writing and wanting to improve his writing skills further.  

        As a child, Horne loved and enjoyed playing soccer. He mostly played in a sports club called i9 Sports and with friends within the neighborhood. Horne dreams of becoming an electric engineer with the hope of creating a business with his cousins. 

       Horne has traveled to various places and while enjoying every single moment he wishes it could last forever. He enjoys eating shrimp alfredo, which is his favorite dish. He strongly believes that it is the best dish he has ever had.  

      He has traveled to many places with his family such as Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, and Jamaica. 

      ‘’I like to travel to visit unfamiliar places and being able to have the opportunity to see how others live,” said Horne. 

       Although he says he dislikes school, his favorite school subject is science. He enjoys the science hands-on activities in class.
