My name is Dzhuma Magomedova, I am 17 years old, and I am a student at South Broward High School. I am eager to test my skills in writing articles so, I chose a journalism course.

I was born in Stavropol Krai, and during my 16 years of living in Russia, I had the opportunity to visit various parts of the country as my family often moved from one city to another. This is why I have many friends in different cities. However, over time, my parents decided to move to the USA, and for the last year I have been living here. I like this country, although we have faced a few difficulties, but I am confident that we will overcome them.

I like to read books, and one of my favorites is “The Little Prince”. My favorite quote from this book: “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” I am also interested in drawing. In Russia, I attended additional courses in this area.
