David Kinash is a 16-year-old sophomore at South Broward High School.  He recently moved to Florida from Boryspil, Ukraine. When he learned about the school's journalism program, he was eager to join.

"I love everything about reading and writing," said Kinash.

Kinash's favorite hobby is listening to music while taking walks. He spends most of his day exploring the neighborhoods by his house.

"When I'm not listening to music, I like to play video games with my friends," said Kinash.

He also occupies his time drawing and traveling. Among others, Kinash has visited Italy, France, and Poland.

"I hope to travel more in the future," said Kinash.
