Lindsay Lemmon, 14, is a freshman at South Broward. She moved here from New Jersey when she was ten and was always back and forth.

“What I love about New Jersey is that it’s a small town and everyone knows one another,” said Lemmon.

Her biggest fear is losing her friends and family because she is very close with them. She says she looks up to her mom cause she’s always there for everyone in her life and is a kind-hearted person. Lemmon has a dog named Makari, a cat named Ryder, and a bunny named Cream. She loves and cherishes her pets a lot and would spend any time of the day with them. Her favorite hobbies are to go to the beach or movies.

“I love going to the beach because it’s really relaxing and you get to walk around and talk to different people and make new friends,”said Lemmon.

She would say she is a “sneakerhead” and likes to collect sneakers. She’s also done cheer and gymnastics and wants to join the track team but is unsure. Lemmon likes it here at South Broward and has a lot of mutual friends. Her favorite class is ELA because it’s easy. After completing her four years of high school she wants to become a vet. 

Lemmon believes the hardest thing about being a student is being organized and keeping up with everything. Her middle school advice would be to not be afraid to talk to people and to make new friends. Which is why one thing she would change about herself is her awkwardness because it gets in the way of her making new friends.
