Malik Dieuveuil is a 16-year-old sophomore at South Broward High School. Dieuveuil doesn't have any second thoughts about his next 2 years in SBHS. High school was a good thing for Dieuveuil last year. He feels that new friends feel like the next 2 years will go by well because he still has a lot to learn through his years left in high school.

They've been in journalism for a few days now, he decided to take the class because he felt it would be a change and would find a new interest in school. Dieuveuil grew up in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami for 3 years and moved up to Broward afterward. He didn't move around too much but when he did, he says it didn't affect him too much.

On Dieuveuil's dad's side of the family, his nickname, "Nassir" is mama given by his great-grandma. Growing up, Dieuveuil thought it was a unique nickname for himself and carries it with himself every day as a gift. Another thing about Dieuveuil is he listens to music a lot and loves going places.

Choosing journalism was a good choice, said Dieuveuil.

"I could learn new opportunities along with meeting new people and being able to interact with different things, along with interviewing new people around campus and take in many opinions concerning the changes happening on school grounds."

Dieuveuil finds comfort in playing video games and watching movies, also finding comfort in being by myself. Sometimes, he would go to his aunt's house and help out with whatever she needed. Another thing Dieuveuil finds comfort in is his family, playing with his siblings, and being able to be a role model for young kids.

One piece of advice Dieuveuil has for everyone: "Don't let tomorrow be ruined, because of what happened today".
