Nicolas Munoz is a freshman in South Broward High and cannot wait to graduate in 2026.
Nicolas was born in Colombia on 11/13/2008 and moved to the USA when he was 8 years old. His favorite movie is The Godfather 2, while his favorite music genre is rock.
“I grew up listening to rock and movie because I played flash games about mafia, and I got interested in Godfather 2.” said Munoz.
On his free time Munoz plays video games with friends and family. He thoroughly enjoys his sleep, and on a rare occasion you'll catch him taking walks.
Munoz has, to this date, traveled eight states in the United States and about six in Colombia.
The one thing that really gets the freshman stressed is school and grades. He believes that the hardest part of being a student is having to mentally prepare himself to pass finals. Or as Munoz says: " The big test of the year."
Regardless of school being one of his biggest stressors, what comes easiest to him is learning new things. Except that he hates when he falls behind and gets embarrassed when his parents find out.
Munoz is a very interesting person; he has two cats and his favorite thing to do as a kid was play Mario with his dad.
The freshman looks up very much to his dad.
“My dad, he was successful at math, science, social studies, and language arts, he never failed.”
His advice for people is to not give up and keep going because you will eventually succeed.
