Sara Piedrahita, 17, is a senior at South Broward High School. Her goal for this school year is to graduate high school in order to further her education. 

“When I graduate I want to achieve the highest GPA I’m capable of,” said Piedrahita.

Piedrahita’s family is from Colombia, so she can speak both English and Spanish. For the past four years she has been interested in photography, and it’s the main reason she decided to be a part of the journalism club.

“I find joy in taking photos that involve people, it captures a raw moment,” said Piedrahita. 

Aside from photography, she also loves to listen to music. One of her favorite artists is Billie Eilish. She also loves films in the horror genre like the Scream series. 

Piedrahita has been into volleyball for both middle and highschool, she plans on being a part of SBHS Girls Volleyball team.
