Yara Lopes, 18, is a senior attending SBHS. She grew up in New Jersey and just recently moved to Florida.

“I live by four rules, #1 I can move anywhere but I’ll always be a Jersey girl.” Yara says.

She can look a little mean but don’t worry she promises she won’t bite. Lopes is actually a pretty nice girl, who enjoys spending her free time outdoors, playing volleyball, and making every moment count.

“Rule #2, what happens in Jersey. Stays in Jersey.” she says,

She is a courageous and outgoing girl, that carries a bit of a tone but gets the job done, she enjoys exploring her creativity through art and even made a business out of it.

“Rule #3, Our way is always right.”

Shes a proud Scorpio, who loves to let go on the weekends and party, but when it’s time to buckle down and focus she’s more than capable. Yara comes from a family of proud, but stubborn Brazilians.
