Zion Madison

Zion Madison, Photographer

Zion Madison, a 16-year-old junior at South Broward High School, was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida.

Madison is a dedicated and multifaceted individual with a passion for both business and photography. As a member of the Marketing Club (DECA), Madison joined because he is business driven and passionate about the world of business.

“I’m always taking pictures. It’s just something that I love to do,” said Madison.

He has a wiry 6 feet and 1 inch frame and a full sleeve of tattoos, and because he doesn’t smile much, people don’t normally come up to him.

“People think I’m mean and older than I really am because of my tattoos and mean resting face, but I’m a kindhearted and a charismatic person.”

His tattoos are in memorial for his oldest brother who died in a car crash a year ago.

Madison is influenced by the strong women in his life, particularly his mother and grandmother, who have played significant roles in shaping the person he is today.

Madison’s interests include comedy movies, like “Friday” and “How High II”. Madison also loves photography and considers it a central aspect of his life.

Everywhere Madison goes he carries his camera, Madison aspires to become a professional sports photographer, capturing the energy and excitement of athletic events. His involvement in DECA and dedication to photography are key steps toward achieving this goal.

His name, Zion, meaning “the city of holiness,” reflects the strong, purposeful identity he carries.
