Isabella Lopez, 15, is a sophomore at South Broward High School, who is excited for this school year.
“I feel really confident about this school year and I believe great things will be accomplished,” said Lopez.
Some things that make up Lopez’s character are her enjoyment for going out with friends during the weekend and grabbing drinks from Starbucks. She’s an R&B lover and she considers music her safe place. She owns a pet cat named Luna and she loves her very much.
Lopez worked at a real estate program that was based on motivating young girls to work in real estate. She worked all summer and received a payment of $50 weekly. This program was sponsored by Dr. Rhone, who works at South Broward High. Dr. Rhone is very popular among the students at SBHS.
Her biggest fear has always been failure. She hopes to achieve her goals this year which are based on her academic skills. She considers herself both dependent and independent. Lopez sometimes relies on people too much and she struggles with a lot of things emotionally, financially, and academically. She does really like working independently, though, as it makes up for who she is.
“I might need help on something but I don’t need to grab onto someone for guidance. Eventually, I will get to a point where I can support myself,” said Lopez.
