Renea Charise Pascal
Renea Charise Pascal is a junior at South Broward High School. Her family is from Haiti, but she was born and raised in Florida. She chose journalism because she likes to write.
“It’s a way I express myself,” said Pascal.
This is her first year writing for the Bulldog Bark. She cares about her grades and, academically, she believes that she is doing well. The class that she stresses the mos about is math. The classes that she enjoys are general writing, theater, debate, and journalism.
She is very artsy and simple things make her laugh. She likes to dance and write Wattpad stories in her free time. Wattpad is a website and app where writers can publish their stories. Her favorite artists are Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, and her favorite song is “I’m the Best” by Nicki Minaj.
Like most people, she gets anxiety talking to others. As for her career choice, Pascal aspires to be a defense attorney. Someone she looks up to and is a big role model in her life is her father.
“He works super hard and pushes through hard moments,” said Pascal.
The advice she would give to people is: Stop trying to mold yourself into someone others want you to be.
