Sydney Stoyer has lived her entire life in Hollywood, but she switched Elementary Schools three to four times. Luckily, for middle school she was able to stay at that school for three years. She intends to stay at South Broward High School for her entire high school experience.
Sydney Stoyer took journalism because it looks fun and she enjoys writing news.
Her favorite movie is “Mamma Mia” and her favorite show is “The Vampire Diaries.”
She has traveled within the US, but she would love to go to Greece or Italy someday. One thing that people don’t know about her is that she has a huge fear of sharks.
She is also a bit of a procrastinator, but she is trying to get better at evenly spacing out her work. The thing that comes easiest to her is English or language arts. She has always been good with science, and when she was little it was really easy for her.
What makes Stoyer laugh is being around her friends, and it also makes her super happy. Her hobbies are hanging out with friends, going to the beach and chill, watching movies, and traveling.
“She looks up to her parents because they’re super strong people and they’re always there for her. ” said Stoyer.
One of her most embarrassing moments was when she was skiing in Massachusetts and during a ski lesson, she was putting on her ski and it fell off and hit her instructor in her head. It looked super painful.
Stoyer offers this piece of advice: “Be yourself because trying to be someone else is a waste of time.”
