The COVID-19 virus has had a huge impact on the city of Hollywood. From the lack of toilet paper, to now the need to wear masks every where we go and to remain 6-feet away from people at all times. People have been sent home from work, and students from school. Public places, for example Publix, have taken things into their own hands by implementing rules and regulations while shopping in-store. Marking are placed all over the store to indicate which way the shoppers should travel to avoid contact with other customers. This allows the store to remain open. Rules while in public will continue to go on for as long as it needs to, or until the CDC informs us on the next step for re-opening the state of Florida.

It’s really good that Publix is setting rules so that everyone is safe. When I saw the tape on the floor indicating that you can only go one direction is really smart because now people wont be crowding the isles as much.

COVID had made shopping very different from what it used to be . This craze has caused many stores to set purchase limits on items to prevent hoarding and companies have had to ask buyers to stop panic buying items.

It’s crazy to see how much we’ve had to modify the grocery stores in order to stay safe from covid. The photos taken really capture how life is like when you want to go out to a public place.

Really great photos. Captures a lot of the new additions grocery stores, specifically Publix has had to create in order to help limit the spread of Corona virus. A couple of these, I haven’t even noticed myself.
