Student Talks About the “High” School Life

The epidemic of vaping has made its way across America into high schools, affecting teens. School staff are trying to figure out this problem.

With vape having a very high presence in SBHS, the school is trying to figure out why.

The student will remain anonymous due to their request to keep their privacy. Anonymous vapes because they find comfort and a safety net to their mental issues.

“It’s like a security thing for my anxiety and mentally not being ok,” said Anonymous.

Many teens that also vape are affected by similar issues.

Anonymous vapes whenever they get the chance. Anonymous gets their supply of vape through a sibling’s friend.

Anonymous favorite sports as a kid growing up was soccer and volleyball, but they can’t seem to enjoy them anymore because of vaping

“I wish I never got into vaping cause now I can’t play the sports I wanted to,” said Anonymous.
